Throughout much of 2008-2009 I have taught visual art
portrait/figure drawing and watercolor painting
at the Education Alliance on the Lower East Side. I developed and
teach a plein aire watercolor workshop
called ÒPainting in the CityÓ which is an architectural appreciation workshop using pencil drawing
and watercolor media.

I have focused on design drawing to convey architectural ideas by
creating accurate perspective
constructions from architectural plans and elevations. I often
render projects in pencil and watercolor.
Many of my architectural renderings are commissioned by architects
to illustrate projects, some document
historic buildings, some are a record of travel experiences and
some were drawn to visualize schematic design
proposals in a loose and evocative manner.
